What is a time trial?
The riders are timed to complete a 10K course of rolling terrain.  Individual riders are started at 30 second intervals.  There is no drafting and no peleton.  Riders of all ability level on road, mountain, recumbent, or tandems bikes are welcome.

Challenge your friends or try to improve your own results from week to week!

When?
Join us for time trialing every Thursday from June 4 to August 27 except for July 2.  Signup for rider numbers begins at 5:30 PM on the first night and 5:45 PM every night after that.  The riding starts at 6:00 PM.  Riders with numbers may proceed directly to the starting line at start time.  

Who?
The time trial is free and exclusive to Pequot Cyclist members.  Only Pequot Cyclist members may participate.  No membership applications will be accepted the night of the ride.

Where?
Parking is available at the I95 Exit 91 carpool lot.  By bike from the carpool lot take Taugwonk Road north out of the carpool lot for 1/2 mile and take a left onto Sommers Lane, in 1/4 mile take another left onto Wheeler road and proceed 1/2 mile to the starting line.  Use a mapping website and these address.

Volunteers Needed
We need volunteers to help time the riders and to flag traffic.  Time trialists should consider taking a night or two off the bike to help out.
