Be aware that your left pedal ( the padal found under your left foot) is threaded "backwards".. It uses a left-handed thread instead of the standard right-hand thread found on nearly every other fixture in the country. This means that to remove the pedal you need to unscrew it in a clockwise direction. If you try to remove it by cracking counterclockwise, you can easily over stress the narrow pedal wrench jaws and damage them.
